The catch of course is that it is an automatic approaching 210,000 miles. However, I bet you can get a few jars of pennies taken off the sale price and have an NSX that you can beat, mod, and experiment on without feeling guilty. Most of the others I’ve seen would have me scared to even sit in them at this point.
I just like the idea of owning a car and not feeling guilty about doing whatever I want to it. What do you think Oppo? It’s a bit over 200 miles away from me.

You need to get it before someone else does. (Provided that it’s a financially wise choice.)

That thing looks damn nice for the mileage... Automatic+high mileage+Texas would suggest it was some lucky bastard’s faithful commuter car for the past 20-something years give or take. I could see the reasoning behind it, at least..

NP, I’d drive that, and the SRT neon, and the Firebird, and the 350z....

It could be that the previous owners of the car have been pretty lightweight.

A scenario you could reasonably expect to occur:
You buy NSX. It gives you relatively trouble-free motoring for the next 5 years, with reasonable services/repairs because bubble-era Honda.
Over the next 5 years, NSX prices double. The price of yours doesn’t, but it goes up $5k - $10k. You just got paid to own an NSX for 5 years.
I’d buy this if it were near me.

Same thoughts. Im still working my personal numbers. I would have to be set up for $24,000 in debt even if I haggled like a pro. I still need to figure out if that’s what I want to do. It would be a lot easier if this were April. Buy this week, start payments Feb, so just two “meh” months and hope my cost of living bumps my salary up, plus annual bonus....I might be going for it this week. Still crunching and making sure I’d be 100% behind the decision.
